[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about three weeks ago and it really works great! It's so easy to use to get a reading. It has so many uses. You can use ot for ground wiring, fuses, batteries, motors, and sensors. I will be using this a lot.

Easy to use circuit tester

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a simple clamp onto a ground this circuit tester allows you to check batteries, fuses, and many other electrical needs in your car. It is very simple and provides quick and reliable reads. Awesome tool to have in the garage or home to be able to do self check without going to an auto store or mechanic.

Q: Can I test Christmas Lights with this tester

A: No, we do not believe this Innova 3430 Test Light will be suitable for testing Christmas lights. This is designed for diagnostics on 6v and 12v DC electrical system - it is not suitable for household 120v AC current.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. To Test for Voltage Attach the Test Light clamp to the negative side of the battery or any good chassis ground. With the tester’s probe, touch the desired terminal or wire you want to check. The LED will illuminate when Voltage/Power is detected. High Volts will cause the LED to illuminate brighter; low Volts will cause it to illuminate dimmer. To Check for Ground: Attach the Test Light clamp to the positive side of the battery or any good 12V DC Power source. With the tester’s probe, touch the desired terminal or wire you want to check. The LED will illuminate when a ground is detected. A good ground will cause the LED to illuminate brighter; a poor ground will cause it to illuminate dimmer.
