Crazy portable and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dongle is really easy to navigate and its functions are clearly defined. It was easy to set up but it had a couple errors on the update at first and that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The app makes it easy to interact with and it helped me identify and clear some codes. The Bluetooth connectivity makes incredibly portable and easy to store. I would recommend this to even the most inexperienced home mechanic. Very handy to have.

Lacking on specifics for vehicles I could not get past the screen that told me to update my truck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like it. Well I love the idea. And very easy to use but ….. As soon as it connected to my vehicle it asked to update vehicle. I’m not updating anything on my vehicles. I just need to read and reset codes that’s it.

Very easy to install and understand which makes it very dependable. Small in size and very lightweight makes it possible to install on any other vehicles you may have. I love it. Highly recommended.

Best bang for buck scanner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This innova obd2 scanner is the real deal, and packs a punch for how small it is. The setup is incredibly easy to use as you simply plug it in, and download the app. It does everything else for you connection wise after you setup an account (which is free). Inside the app you will find a whole bunch of useful tools such as engine scan, upcoming maintenance, useful notes from your manufacturer of the car, etc. My favorite feature of this tool is the live data tracking which I have posted a picture above. That is awesome, truly works wonders. I have a Subaru WRX that is heavily modded, and having live tracking data of the essential components inside the engine bay is a game changer! Highly recommend this tool, the only gripe I have with it is that sometimes it goes out of connection. That is about it but all you have to do is unplug it and plug it back in! 4/5 stars from me!

Q: I see reports of folks returning this device. HOW? My store has an exchange-only policy on this very-limited- functionality item despite the description referencing high-level functionality.

  • A: I never brought this for it's supposed high functioning. I just brought it for a code reader and description. Has a few other functions but never used them. If you want more like data, you gotta spent 500 and up.
