purchased this saw to use around the house, will actually be taking it to the woodlot. finished cutting 5 chord of firewood and chain still sharp. I am amazed at the performance. Chain tightening is a breeze and works fantastically. Oil to chain works perfect. Bought it on recommendation from brother in law and glad he told me about it. I recommended it to a friend and he will purchase tomorrow. Battery performance is good but wise to get a second battery, I will purchase a third battery.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nifty little chainsaw

Excellent and handy chainsaw, battery lasts a good time. Tried to purchase a second Battery, but it costs as much as the whole chainsaw, bought another one for the battery, got a spare charger, 14” bar and chain, and also a spare chainsaw, needed the second battery.

Good While It Lasted

I bought this saw in November at my local CT store. It worked great (while it lasted), light, powerful, battery seemed to last long enough for whatever job I intended to do. 110 days after purchasing the saw it stopped working. full battery, clean chain and bar, clean battery contacts etc. The on/off button won't power the saw on.
I contacted CT, where I was told it had a 90 day warranty, but their website says 3 year repair warranty. I was told to take the saw to a local dealer, who would determine if the problem would be covered or not. If not I would have to pay.
I contacted Husq, who told me the same thing.
I really expected a husq product to last me years, not days! I've got a gas powered stihl saw that's 35 years old and still going.
Very disappointed!!!

I purchased a new Husquvarna Cordless electric chainsaw on Jan.14, 2021. I brought it home, charged the battery, filled the oil and reviewed the literature. I started cutting some 4” diameter dried trees I had piled up. I was satisfied with how it ran, initially. Then it stopped running and gave me an error message on the touchscreen. I went back to the manual but could find no info. So I went to the website and got on a Chat with a Husquvarna expert. He advised I send the saw in for service. It had 5 minutes of run time on it. It looks like the Husquvarna name no longer stands for quality. Thankfully, Cdn Tire handled the return very well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can I leave this up at the cabin over the winter? Will the battery be OK? Probably goes down to -25C for a while each year.
