Best string trimmer I've owned

I'm a residential user, but I like good tools. I've owned several of the white and orange 2-stroke trimmers, and currently own their most expensive battery model. I've also owned the Red version of this with the same engine, which I regretted selling after going "battery". Long story short, I don't regret that anymore. This is better than the Red version, because it's noticeably lighter, while providing the same quiet performance that I previously enjoyed. I'm aware this is no longer in production, and consider myself fortunate to have located one. If you've never used a 4-stroke trimmer and are considering one before they go the way of the dodo bird, pick up one of these; you won't regret it.

Damaged product

I was sold a damaged product, I realized this after a few months had gone by I was lucky that I went to a Husqvarna dealer for a blade, they informed me that the shaft was bent. In the end I brought it back to another Canadian tire store and got a full refund.

Wouldn’t buy another one!

It spits a foot and a half of string out on any tap. Sometime so much it just wraps the head up in string. Wasted so much string. Using factory .95 string. And yes it’s installed correctly. Just defective head.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased at the start of summer. Runs great. Wish it came with a mount for a shoulder strap. Bought the husqvarna balance XT trimmer harness and can’t figure out how to attach it.
