Worked well till it didn’t

As a “robust” knife built for “strength and versatility” having it break was pretty disappointing. Up until that point it was a pretty good beginners knife save for the bottom of the handle coming off, the guard being cheap and the sheath being cut through by simply pulling the knife out and putting it back in the handle.
No, I do not recommend this product.

IMMEDIATELY started chipping and glinting while splitting literal twigs for tinder, i much prefer the canadian all-purpose by yall but this one? not for me unfortunately

Q: 1. How wide is the tang? 2. Is the transition from the tang to the blade sudden or gradual? These two variables will likely determine how this will fail and whether it is reasonable to call it a "survival" knife.

A: The width of the tang is 12mm, the length of the tang is 96mm, the transition from the tang to the blade is sudden.

A: I believe that it is a full length tang with the end of the tang being secured at the end of the handle to the metal end cap. This design is similar to the USMC fighting kabar knife. hope this helps.
