I am so happy I was able to purchase this blanket. As a lifelong Hudsons Bay shopper I was so sad when the company declared bankruptcy. I have always wanted one of these blankets but they sold out quickly last spring. I really hope that Canadian Tire will some day open Hudsons Bay stores again, even if only a few across Canada. I miss doing my Christmas shopping at The Bay.

Excellent quality wool blanket

This blanket hits all the right spots - it's heavy but not too heavy, incredibly warm, and high quality. It's perfect if you prefer something that is warm on your bed during the winter months, but not as heavy as a thick fleece blanket or as thick as a comforter.

Q: I am interested in buying this blanket in person when it is released, but I am concerned by the description here. It says the blanket is made of fleece and not the original wool that was used to make the blankets in the past. Is this correct?
