Dual light level

It's not advertised as a tri-light. A regular LED bulb (I used 100w) works great. I tried a 60w and it worked just as well. The toggle switch goes low-high-off. Awesome. But no where does it say this. Bonus feature.

Pas chère, tuyau solide mais conservez bien votre facture d'achat... Sur la première, on ne pouvait visser une section de tuyau. La deuxième fonctionnait. Mais on a collé l'étiquette d'avis de sécurité sur une partie très apparente plutôt que dans l'abat-jour, et avec une colle qui ne s'enlève qu'avec de l'acétone… Et l'emballage est affreux, vous aurez des miettes de styromousse dans toute la pièce. Et si votre porte-poussière est en mode statique positif, vous en aurez aussi sur les meubles…

Q: What is the strength of the bulb, how many watts ? It doesn't say just says the incandescent bulbs or CFL.

A: The bulb is 1 X E26 150W MAX. If you want the maximum wattage possible, we suggest Incandescent 052-5462-6.

Q: Can you buy the bulb seperatly? Hi there, I have a similar lamp at home that I just bought second hand. There was no bulb included so I am wandering if the bulb can be bought separately at Canadian Tire?

A: It will take a standard incandescent light bulb or Trilight bulb (50/100/150W). A CFL bulb will not physically fit with the lamp shade installed, the hole in the shade is too small. While I stated it will take a trilight bulb, the switch only has two on positions, so it is not a true trilight lamp.

Q: What kind of CFL bulb will work in this lamp to work with the hi-lo setting?

A: The answer is none. However this switch is wired, it will not work with a trilight bulb, which would be what you would expect. It looks like they wired it similar to a trilight socket, but left out the third circuit. A trilight CFL bulb will flash on/off in the low position and stay on in the high position (not sure at what level (low,medium,high).
