Hitachi 12-in Dual Compound Mitre Saw with Laser

$499.99

Product Details

Prepare yourself for years of amazing performance because Hitachi has proven itself, again. Allow this versatile saw to impress you with its power and accuracy. It easily adjusts (even micro-adjusts) to whatever mitre cut and stays solid on that measurement, with a large base for exceptional support.

  • 12" dual compound mitre saw with laser marker to accurately indicate where the blade will cut on the material

  • Laser can be easily adjusted to the right or left of the cut mark depending upon the users preference

  • Powerful 15 Amp motor with 1,950 Watts of output power smoothly powers through hardwoods with ease

  • Tall, pivoting aluminum fence that stands at a height of 5-1/8" allows crown moulding to be cut vertically for convenience

  • Mitre scale ranges from 0-52 degrees, both to the right and left, for a broader range of cuts

  • Elastomer compound coats the horizontal handle, reducing vibration, while adding comfort and preventing slippage

  • Bevel scale ranges from 0-48 degrees to the right and left allowing the material to stay in place while the saw head flips to make opposing cuts

  • Large base provides better support and balance to prevent material from warping

  • After major bevel angle is secured, micro-bevel adjustment knob can be used to dial-in to a precise angle without the weight of the saw head compromising the accuracy

I’ve had it for years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this saw from another contractor who had already had it for awhile. I started my own general contracting business about three years ago. I was so excited to own a Metabo Saw! It has done really well for me I’d like to upgrade to a sliding miter saw now. The saw has been easy to use and has passed the test of time and is still working today

Crown molding beast

I’ve been using my Metabo miter saw in our cabinetry trade, for crown molding up to 7-5/8 inches and it’s great! 16-24 hours a week of continuous cutting and holds like a beast, (but smooth to my hands). Looking forward to get my hands o the table saw!
