Conflicting merchandise info...

This isn't a knock on the nails, which I love, but the online process to get them. I first tried in May, knowing that I'm competing against others who have the outdoor project itch. I first tried to get the OUTDOOR 3" nails (which I wanted) via online ordering. Instead I get 2.5" nails. Returned. I try an online order again and get 3" nails (yay!) but indoor (boo!). Returned, because i'm wanting & ordering the outdoor nail. I had to travel 45 minutes away to another Cdn Tire outside my city while this store held it for me. The problem is Cdn Tire (online) shows a pic of the Hillman 3" indoor nail when the other info is for the outdoor nail.Come on Cdn Tire, fix it! As for the 3" spiral outdoor nail, I love it and will use Hillman spiral nails in future, regardless of size. And yes, I know this review is supposed to be for the interior nail.

Fastening rough-cut siding

Good nails. Building a small barn with rough-cut lumber. Using these nails to fasten siding. I didn’t want them to rust and bleed into the wood. No power where I’m working so I can’t use a nailer. I’m getting really good at packing the wood all around the head of the nail. I believe they call that a “rose”. You just can’t get that effect with a nailer! I probably wouldn’t have tennis elbow now if I could have got my Jenny running.
