    Useless without shop manuals

This book is misleading in that you need a shop manual to diagnose any OBD codes retrieved. Something like Mitchell on Demand or Alldata subscriptions are the way to diagnose any code. Mitchell and Alldata give two different methods of doing so. You can buy a code reader, but if you do not know what the codes mean and how to fix the issue, it is pointless to own. I was looking at buying an Innova reader/scan tool, but was lead to a better one that does everything up to '07. Why pay $450 for something that gives generic live data and another $150 for ABS when I bought a used full, $2000 that does it all, including bi-directional for $500. This book is a waste if the systems, and how they relate, are not understood. Buy an automotive textbook and learn what is needed.

No, I do not recommend this product.
