My daughter loves her Hatchimal. It keeps her entertained and she plays with it as if it was a live animal. It has definitely made her happy and she even takes it outside when we go out. Great toy to teach young kids about taking care of animals.

The beak started cracking open the shell, but then it turned off and wouldn’t restart. No noise, movement or light. Never hatched.

As soon as we have received our box in the mail my daughter tore it open. She immediately started to hatch it. The packaging is so very cute, vibrant and colorful! I was obsessed!!! My daughter had her fingers crossed for a little girl hatchimal and started picking out names as she was hatching “her” lol.. the first thing I noted was how fun it was that you could interact with the hatchimal before it was even hatched and in order to get it to hatch faster you had to keep it happy!!!! My daughter had to keep checking the eyes through the shell to see what her hatchibaby needed in order to make sure she was doing the best for it. She did get a little impatient so I had to keep reminding her to keep her baby happy!!! Eventually it started hatching and it was a BOY!!!! She was a little sad but, got over it quick (and called it a girl anyway lol). She took the baby out of the egg and unwrapped it’s highchair. Then she saw the extra toys inside the egg to unwrap that had a lovie stuffed animal, a bottle, a rattle and a brush. We then were able to personalize the hatchibaby and teach it my daughters name which was so so fun! She got to play games with her hatchibaby and loved all over it. This toy melts my heart to watch her be so mindful of another thing. This toy is the best thing that she has had in a long while! I love it Pros - Interactive in the egg before even hatching, Fun suprise when hatched, Suprise toys to unbox after opening the egg to get the extras out, Personalizable by teaching it you’re name, Adorable pastel colors, Teaches mindfulness. Cons - The literal only con was that we could not for the life of use get the lovie, bottle or rattle to work. Nothing we did could make them work. It could have been user error but, we tried everything. However in no way will this deter us from buying this toy again and again. All in all this toy was a ton of fun and continues to be a blast, my daughter loves this toy and plays with it every.single.day since she got it! This is her new got to for buying presents for friends as well! We are so blessed to have been given this opportunity to try this product for free and are so pleased. We are 100 percent a hatchimal obsessed family now!

The little brush and accessories it came with was a nice touch. My kids got a big kick going through the process as a family, and us parents did too. We love it!!!
