Works really well EXCEPT for trying to remove the food tray

Wish the toaster oven had a handle to slide the tray out. My previous HB toaster oven had a hinge that allowed the tray to come out. Why doesn't it have a handle or hinge so that I don't burn my hand trying to take the food tray out???

Bought to replace 12 year old, still woking (but one leg loosened), Toast Station Model. This one is larger and has a timer, but miss the small, quick & easy to use predecessor.

Q: Can this be put on a laminate countertop? Also can it Ben used under upper cupboards, as in how much clearance is needed on top?

A: Before using this appliance, move it 2 to 4 inches away from wall or any object on the countertop. Remove any object that may have been placed on top of the appliance. Do not use on surfaces where heat may cause a problem.
