It is quiet, for a dehydrator. Love the rectangle trays. The temperature is accurate and consistent. Had it for a week and its not stopped running yet! 😃

Q: My cats eat freeze dried chicken and fish. Can I dehydrate chicken on this so that it will be crisp enough that it will be about the same for them? Hopefully I can as the packages I’m buying for them right now are really expensive.

A: We make jerky all the time with it. It takes quite a while but it turns out great. We usually soak in a teriyaki sauce before dehydrating.

Q: My daughter got one of these dehydrators for Christmas and it keeps coming up with an error message every few minutes. Does anyone know how to fix or troubleshoot this? The instructions were useless for troubleshooting issues.
