I must say that this system requires a much more hands-on approach than i realized. First of all, do not attempt to lay this down with any type of wind. even a light breeze will lift it. Even with stakes it would just rip away. it is thin and brittle like toilet paper. you are best to mist it with water as you lay it down. You must also have a sprinkler system unless you plan on calling off of work for 2 weeks to water it 3 times a day. I ended up just covering it up with hay after i realized how often it would need watered. The sun just dries it up after an hour and the wind pulls it up and rolls it around. This may be great for a small yard surrounded by fence and shade trees but out in the open with no wind break, not so much. I had high hopes but turned out to be very disappointed. Going with the old technique of grass seed and hay over top.

No, I do not recommend this product.

There are some spots that didn't grow grass. Not sure about the inconsistency otherwise it's doing pretty well. Hopefully it comes back next year after winter
