Dangerous Brand

Bought this board last year for my 11 year old son. While riding it the system started making loud beeping sounds. It threw my son off continued going smashed into a car parked across the street then bounced back hole smacking to pieces. Thankful my son is hurt. I hav damages to pay for. Please be very careful. I called the company to complain and the number is disconnected the message saying due to company not paying their bills. Beware. We were lucky this time.

Gravity Hoverboards, one

I purchased one black Hoverboard and one blue Hoverboard for my grandson age 9 and 11, on April 19,2018.They drove on a paved laneway. When a Hovercart was added both boards locked up. Returned to Canadian Tire and received new boards on June 16, 2018. The boys used then about 6 times between June 16 and July 3rd when they locked up again. Returned to Canadian Tire and was told maybe they are not suitable for the boys. Got refund. Would not recommend.

Great Fun

We purchased this for my granddaughter's 11th birthday. She is a figure skater and had no problem mastering it. She was doing spins the first day. The battery lasts a long time & it takes less than 3 hours to recharge it. She loves it. We just got it & will update if there are any problems in the future.

My daughter loves her new hover board. It works great. She’s on it all day long until it’s bed time with some breaks in between. :-) The battery seem to last long. It’s easy to charge and doesn’t take too long. I also like that you get an in store one year warranty. It’s a great first time user hoverboard for the younger ones. They don’t need extra gadgets, for example, Bluetooth and you can’t complain with the price once on special. ;-)

I just bought this for my grand-kids , specifically because of the Warranty Canadian Tire offers with this product. 1 year exchange. Sounds great, ill find out if it quits working within the year . Hopefully it is true and there is no problem.

Q: How does this hold up on sidewalks that have small gravel rocks or uneven surfaces? Will it cause fall hazards?

A: Hoverboards should be ridden on smooth, even surfaces. Even just a few millimeters of uneven surface can cause the Hoverboard to stop abruptly. The rider may continue to travel forward, causing a fall.
