Its high strength and quick set time makes Gorilla Super Glue the go-to adhesive for a variety of household projects. Developed for long-lasting repairs in an instant, the translucent glue dries in 10-45 seconds. Our Super Glue is reinforced for increased impact resistance to handle bumps and drops. We call it Impact-Tough® because the reliable bond stands up to wear and tear. Super glue, also referred to as cyanoacrylate glue, or CA glue, works on a variety of materials, including plastic*, metal, stone, ceramic, paper, rubber and more. In addition to Gorilla Super Glue's high-performance cyanoacrylate formula, we've added an anti-clog cap with a metal pin inside ensuring an airtight seal for maximum reusability. The only thing it instantly clues together is your fingers. You have to hold it for 3 to 4 minutes sometimes longer to get something to stick, after that it does work.

Q: Hello, I have aluminum decor strips that are powder coated. Which glue or pl do I need to be able to glue to the wall paper?

A: Gorilla Super Glue has not been tested on powder coated surfaces although it does have a great stability with aluminum and will also work with paper. We would recommend using this on a "Trail and Error" basis due to the powder coating process. For the best possible bond strength and quick bond time, it is important to never overuse Gorilla Super Glue. Overuse of the glue can cause long cure times and bond failure. We recommend one drop per square inch and less glue on projects smaller than that.

Q: How is this glue for Polyethylene, PET and nylon? It is hard to find something that works on any or all of these.

A: The Gorilla Super Glue can be used to attach metal to wood. Please keep in mind to only use one dab per square inch. When there is too much glue used the bond is not able to be achieved. The Gorilla Glue Company

A: Gorilla Super Glue works well up to temperatures as high as 200-220ºF. However, too much exposure to extreme heat will cause the strength of the bond to be compromised. Likewise, too much exposure to water, especially warm water, can compromise the strength of the bond.
