I bought this stuff only as a back up, to remove some office signs of glass partitions. It turned out that this stuff worked better than anything else I tried. I pried the sign out a bit, squirted it down the back, let it sit for a minute, then ran a scraper up behind the sign(s). It loosened all the aggressive tape(?) and I was able to pry and wiggle the signs off the windows without any damage. Then I removed the residue from the glass with it, hit the glass with Windex and you would never know there were signs there.

Seems to basically be lighter fluid (like for Zippo lighters) pretty strong odours and not that effective on old glue.

Q: Hi, does anyone know if this product will remove the old 2-way tape from a car? I removed an exterior side window visor and I am left with the old sticky tape. Do you think this product will harm the paint on the car? Thank you

A: It will work just fine to remove it. Just apply it let it side for a few seconds then wipe off don’t let it sit on the paint for a long period of time and you’ll be fine

A: This product is not good for removing stains but is excellent for dissolving adhesives. I use a high detergent for asphalt stains, like powdered Tide and a stiff broom to scrub it.

Q: Can this be used on car clear coat to remove sticker glue or will it remove the clear coat as well?

Ideal for all kinds of hard surfaces such as metals, glass, brick, wood, concrete, grout, fiberglass, hand tools and most automotive surfaces. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, as every hard surface is different. Damages many plastics, worn vinyl floors, some automotive paints, and some carpets.
