    worn out in 4000 miles

    This is my 2nd pair of Goodyear P275 35 ZR 18 tires & they lasted only 4000 miles until the wear bars showed.

    The Supercar 3R is meant for performance driving in warm, dry conditions. When the tire is in the right temp/pressure window, it provides very strong and consistent grip. The tire is exactly as Goodyear describes. Tread is soft at 100 and it isn't meant for wet weather driving or cold ambient temps (< 50F). With that understanding, it delivers to all expectations.

    As advertised, these are perfect tires for any racetrack in warm, dry weather. Takes a little longer to heat up than the regular SC3, but they become noticeably stickier. Wet performance isn't fantastic, but I still ran 1:05 regularly at Musselman Honda when it was wet from monsoon, so they still get the job done. It's not a tire I'd recommend for the comforts of daily driving, but it's not designed for that. These are race track tires that you can legally drive on public roads with.

    • A: The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 255/45ZR20 101Y is scheduled to be available from Canadian Tire in the near future. We are currently rolling out the Eagle F1 Supercar line as part of our special order program, and this size will be available in store via special order and online. The product number for this tire is 208-5132. We do not have a date yet for when this tire will be available, but it should be in the very near future.
