Great Experience!

You have to love online shopping! I wanted something specific, found it quickly online, placed order, drove to store after work the next day, and it's loaded into my car at the curbside pickup. I don't miss the days when you had to drive from store to store hoping the product you want is there and in stock.

This time, the grass is greener on MY SIDE!!!

To be blunt, I was completely skeptical about fertilization for my property, since I always figured grass-seeding was enough. However, I thought I would switch it up this year, so I decided to give this fertilizer by Golfgreen a go. Well, only a few weeks after weeding, seeding, fertilizing, and occasional deep-watering, I’m very pleased to report that Golfgreen’s 3-in-1 Lawn Fertilizer has significantly contributed to positively transforming my property’s grass (especially that found on my boulevard), from its usual drab self to being verdantly lush and majestic as ever! Due to its unmatched ability to ensure a seasonal greening of my grass (and that of my neighbours’ envy), I unequivocally plan to carry forward this Golfgreen fertilizer as an annual component of my lawn-care repertoire. (5 out of 5 stars.)

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I have a Scott "Drop Spreader". What setting should I use.

1 Answer
  • A: As Scott's is very proprietary with their spreader settings and application rates, we cannot state with all certainty that this spreader setting is correct. Nevertheless, our information is indicating that the spreader setting for a Scott's drop spreader should be around #6.5, or the Scott's Broadcast Spreader setting around #6. The opening in the bottom of the spreader should be no more that 1/4 open. If this setting does not seem correct then I would recommend following the following steps. 1. Pre-measure the area to determine how many sq. ft. you have. 2. Using your bathroom scales pre-measure the recommend amount of fertilizer for your sq. ft. (The CIL Golfgreen 1Step All Season Fertilizer 35-0-10 calls for 2.75 kg per 100 sq. m. or 6 lbs per 1000 sq. ft.) 3. Apply the premeasure fertilizer at a very low setting, slowly, over the pre-measured area. 4. Continue going over the pre-measured area evenly, until all the fertilizer has been spread. In total the 9 kg bag of CIL Golfgreen 1Step All Season Fertilizer should be applied evenly to a total of 325 sq. m., or 3500 sq. ft. By pre-measuring both the area, and the fertilizer, and applying it slowly over the area, you assure yourself that it cannot be over applied. These application instructions may be used with any fertilizer provided you know both the recommended coverage, over the recommended area.
