Easy to replace a failing door bell with this one, and it is an attractive replacement.

Pretty and it works just great.

Very easy to fit and comes complete with brass screws. Cheap as Chips and does the job. It is a lot prettier than the cheap white plastic ones and only a few buck more. A little tip, rub the contacts with Vaseline and they won't oxidize. It will double the life of it.

Doorbell does not work

I had to change my doorbell because the old one broke. So I got this but it does not work. I have to keep pressing like 5-6 times on the top part, middle part and bottom part before the bell rings. I have had the mailman go back with the parcel he needed my signature for, and I never heard the bell ring. I have had visitors call me on my phone to tell me they are at my door. I need to find time to get another doorbell and replace it. Until then, there is a sign which says, “knock, doorbell not working”.

No, I do not recommend this product.
