Hi, Thank you for your inquiry! The bulb requirements are 1x E26/Medium Base 60W Bulb (sold separately) - Compatible with LED, Incandescent and Halogen Bulbs - LED or Incandescent recommended. The on/off switch is located on the plate right under the swing arm, it is visible in the photo.
