Q: Does this turn off on its own?

A: No it does not turn off on its own. Have to press it until it runs through all the colours and then will turn off.

Q: Wondering if this LED lamp can be left plugged in continuously. It says a charge only lasts 4 hours so it’s not ideal as a night light.

A: I am not sure why it says a charge lasts 4 hours. Our daughter has all three animals and all three each last all night (our daughter also sleeps 11.5 hours each Night). I haven’t left them plugged in all night but they do allow you to turn them on plugged in.
