Impossible to snap close

Same reason others have given this only 1 star: it's almost impossible to close the lid. You can usually snap on three sides and then it's like the 4th side doesn't align properly. I hate just throwing things out so I'm just waiting and begging for the day when these things will break naturally so I can get a better brand.

The lids appear to seal very well. However, I bought these as a gift and the person I got them for had real diffiiculty opening and closing the lids, so she returned them. This may not be an issue for some users

Q: My question is about the lids of these glass containers. Your website states that the lids are BPA FREE. My question is are they FREE of all other PHTHALATES such as BPS or BPF?

A: Hello , We finally heard back from the manufactuer , The lids on the Glasslock set are also BPS & BPF free. Polypropylene, which is what the lids are made of, does not contain those chemicals.
