Not all gear wrench created equal

I was worried about all the posts online about how the sockets came bent and warped. In my case I would say a good 50% are bent, off square or not seated correctly. I’m disappointed as I’ve been switching to gear wrench and this was disappointing. The other stuff was made in Taiwan and this sweet is made in China.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I got this set because it had more pieces than the husky set I had and it seems better quality. Only thing I didn’t like was there’s no foam in the box to keep the tools from falling out of their spaces in the box so I cut a rag and put it in there to hold everything in place otherwise it’s a mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another nice little kit from Gearwrench that fullfills normal tasks, and some special purposes. I was surprised when I need to finish assembling a rowing machine that it needed an allen head tool to accomplish this. The crappy one that comes with it the machine doesn't cut it. Thankfully this kit has one that did. Not only that, but when my wife asked me to adjust her headlights, I didnt realize they needed a special socket to do so. Low and behold, this kit has them! It also has an assortment of other bits, including the security "T" bits. I already know this will come in handy on my next brake job as well, since there is a star bit bolts for the caliper. I really like this kit. I would recommend this along with a gearwrech ratchet set. Then you have almost evrything you needd for a basic brake job or other honey do tasks!

It handled front caliper slide bolts for a brake job effortlessly, also worked perfectly on the bolts for a rear tire carrier and rear camera. The kit has everything TORX and Allen heads that you need all in handy convenient this kit will be utilized heavily in the future.
