GearWrench 3/8-in Drive Tool Socket Set 57-pc, Chrome Plating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Package arrived and was making a lot of noise. Someone had dropped the package which caused the inside to come out of their slots. Checked the outside for damage and there was none. Everything went back in the proper places and all is good. Obviosly well made case saved everything. The 90 tooth ratchets have become my favorite. Always liked this feature on the Gear Wrenches. So nice to have on my ratchets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great no skip/no fluff kit. I like that there is no wasted space in the case and how the top can be removed easily to place into a tool box drawer. With that said the top half of the case is flimsy and could use some reinforcement. There is enough slack in the top half, to cause the sockets to move out of place. So if you're going to use this set in a service truck, you might want to put some foam or cardboard in, to keep them in place. Using the tools was great. The ratchet mechanisms feel smooth and solid, especially for how thin the heads are. The switch is also low profile and I did not have any issues accidently putting it in the wrong direction. Sockets as well are great quality. The numbering is clearly marked on both sides of the socket. The sockets also have vertical knurling on the bottom of the metric and horizontal for SAE for both deep and shallow. Overall this set is a great value in terms of contents, exceptional quality and the relatively low amount of space it takes up. Rated 4/5 because the issues with the case causing the sockets to jump around but the tools inside are fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice 12 point socket set. It comes with short and deep well sockets that are metric and standard in size. The ratchets are short and regular size. The 90 tooth helps work in tighter spots. It has the right sockets and ratchets to get the job done. It comes in a molded case and the only down fall is the case. When the case gets moved around or shifts the sockets are scattered around in the box. I use these tools anywhere from a small job to a large job. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this set! It comes with 57 pieces with both SAE and Metric sizes in both deep and standard 3/8” drive sockets. Sizes range from 1/4” to 1” and 6mm up to 19mm, you get both a 90 tooth stubby ratchet as well as a full size 90 tooth ratchet. This kit is great to leave in the car when you need tools for emergencies, and it all fits into a compact plastic case which makes it easy to stow away. The polish finish on the ratchets and sockets is very well done and the laser etching of the socket sizes on each socket makes it easy to find the socket you’re looking for! I love the 90 tooth ratchets, (4 degree swing arc) they make working in tight spaces easy and the stubby ratchet is awesome to have for very cramped quarters… the head of the ratchets are a teardrop shape which also helps get into tighter places. I would highly recommend this set to anyone, as the quality is really nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 57pievce 90T 3/8th ratchet and socket set is amazing. It comes in a great case that i can keepvin the back of my truck. I used the set to install pulleys and a serpentine belt while I was camping up North because my belt got frayed. These tools worked wonderfully, let me get enough torque on the bolts and did not round anything off. The 90T swing is great in those hard to reach places. I feel bad getting this set dirty! But I will be doing just that.
