not using it for gutters, I am using it as a coating on the bottom of my cell phone holders so they don't shift around when I change pages but it works great. Thinking of putting some dots on the bottom of my boots for traction on ice.

Q: What is the allowable temperature range for application? Can I use this product between 0 and 5C?

A: Thank you for your question. Surface and ambient temperatures must be above 32°F (0°C) and below 120°F (49°C). For best performance, apply sealant at 70°F (21°C). Keep in mind that if the sealant is applied when the temperatures are below 32°F (0°C), the rate of cure will slow, and cure time cannot be predicted at this point other than it will be significantly longer.

Q: Will this work between galvanized flashing and a brick chimney or would the Concrete Sealant be better?

A: Thank you for the question. GE Gutter Silicone 2 Sealant may be used on both brick and metal surfaces. While this sealant won't blemish most metal surfaces, we recommend testing on a small, indiscreet area before use to ensure compatibility and suitable and acceptable results before proceeding with the entire project.
