Replacement handle fit with same branded shovel

The replacement handle works well with the matching shovel, as expected. Our original handle broke within the same winter we purchased the shovel. Judging by the fact that this handle is readily available as a replacement part, it seems we weren’t the only ones who experienced this issue. That said, the replacement fits properly and restores the shovel to full use.

A: Fitted the one spade handle that was broken, don’t know measurements. I think they’re all the same size anyway

Q: The product description shows "1.5 - inch handle ..." Is this the inside diameter? The snow shovel for which I need this has a 1.25 inch diameter wood shaft (still good as new.) I am not sure if this will fit my shovel.
