Not what we anticipated

We checked the label and we ahould certainly have had lots to do the job we had to do. The nozzle jammed often and didnt seem to mix well. We did what we needed to for one day and, about a week later, we went to finish. A new nozzle was used but only one tank would prssurebup. It would not mix and we ended up wasting about a third of this, very expensive, product. It also would not have come close to doing the square footage mentioned on the packaging. We will now, with great trepidation, be forced to get another and hope for better results.

A: Polyurethane foam will work great on a hot tub providing the foam is not exposed to direct sunlight. The UV will degrade the foam over time if left exposed.

A: Yes it is, trick is warm it up to around 26c and wear protective clothing eyewear and mask, cover anything you don’t want to get it on as the first half of the products canisters sprays rather fast and can be a bit messy.

A: Hello rogie - The Froth=Pak™ Foam Sealant product should not be used as an insulation, the product is an air sealant and should only be sprayed to a maximum of 2-inches thick and no more than 4-inches wide. DuPont does not sell a spray foam insulation product in Canada.

Q: How much will this foam expands? If I spray 1 inch thick on a wall, how much the foam will be thick once dry. Is it suitable to insulate walls to fill air gaps and to protect against cold?

A: We did our crawl space joist with it. It’s expensive and finicky. Have to make sure it hasn’t been previously frozen and has to be the perfect temp to apply - product and room. When used right it’s an awesome product. But if the application isn’t perfect it’s a total flop.
