The synthetic blend media is engineered to perform with premium conventional and semi-synthetic motor oil. Hello, I actually noticed that my car lost power and is consuming more gasoline as per the dashboard and the mileage. I definitely would not recommend this product.

Do not use Canadian Tire for your car. Such terrible service and I had the full experience. I do actually wonder if the car was seriously serviced as well no washer fluid in the car , other levels where off when they where checked filled , etc . Do yourself a favour- use your dealership as these people are clowns who won’t take responsibility

Q: The CT site says part number TG10060 is good for a 2011 Ford F-150 5.0 V8 The fram states TG10575 is the correct one, will the TG10060 work as it’s the ones I bought

A: The app and website don’t match, unfortunately for me I bought the wrong one as the app showed, I now have to drain and replace it with the correct one. Very disappointed

A: Hi there, thank you for the question. The FRAM Tough Guard Oil Filter does have a gasket on the unit for easier filter removal, however it does not include a separate gasket for the oil drain plug.

A: Hi Wilson, Please provide more details regarding the make and model of your vehicle in order for us to provide a proper recommendation. Additionally, Canadian Tire's website does have a "Manage Vehicle" icon near the top of the page where you can place the details in and it will lead you to the correct filter.

A: Hi Paul, yes, the TG3614 spin-on oil filter has a silicone anti-drainback valve which delivers superior start-up engine protection with up to 3X the hot oil resistance.

Q: How do I add to Cart without selecting my car? I tried searching the SKU number. The page automatically reloads and makes me select a car. When I select my car, the page tells me it doesn't match, even though it does.

A: Hi Jack, apologize for the inconvenience, our Parts Selector tool isn't functioning as it should at the moment. You are able to reference the ADDITIONAL INFO PDF within the DETAILS section which shows the FRAM part number and our CTC SKU number for look up. If you then type in the CTC SKU number into the search bar you are able to add to cart then, as long as there is no vehicle selected.

A: Bonjour encore une fois, si vous faites référence à la taille du filtre à huile, les deux ont les mêmes dimensions. Les composants internes de chaque filtre sont cependant différents. Si vous faites référence au prix, l'Ultra est légèrement plus que le Tough Guard.
