supposed to fit 2 1/4" to 4" oil filters, but can only fit down to 2 3/4", either it is wrongly labelled or the wrenchs faulty. But on checking the other wrenches of same type, they all appear the same.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Absolute Garbage

Doesn't grab the filter at all, and is only useful if the filter is loose enough to turn by hand in which case it is not needed! Get the normal kind and don't waste your time with this. I had a stuck on filter on a vehicle I purchased and this was useless, only the kind with the metal strap or the wrench adapter would work for it. This one immediately punctured the filter and would slip as well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The Jaw Grip Wrench (028-3543) is auto-adjustable. The sizes range from 57mm to 102mmm. The head, or top rim, of the tool extends backwards from the tooth, or bottom, of the grip. Once the tool is placed around the oil filter, the tooth should push back against a filter canister for a tight grip to loosen any oil filter from its position. See attached pictures.
