Does the job but...

Does the job but if you cannot already get your hand firmly on the filter I suggest spending the extra couple of dollars for the wrench with swivel option. This tool needs a fair bit of room to swing.

I bought a brand new oil filter wrench FE102

So now I have made the time to change my oil, I have everything I need, got my new filter, new oil, new wrench. I drain the oil, then go to use my new wrench, and this thing folds like an accordion. I cannot get my old oil filter off. I spent a long time trying to get it off, I no longer have the finger strength to do it, which is why I bought a oil wrench. After watching videos on YouTube on how to get a stuck oil filter off, I am not willing to destroy the current filter in case there is a problem with that. So I have given up on trying to get it off, I fill my truck with oil, leaving the current filter on, and I am going to return this next time I go into the city, and buy something made much better.

one of the better wrench options

I've gone through several of Fram's wrenches in the past and this one actually did the job without too much trouble. My only concern is how long the little teeth that actually grab onto the filter last.
