This bird bath is wide and deep enough for birds to have a nice bath. It also looks good and is heavy enough that it doesn't tip over easily.

A: Definitely cannot be left outside during winter months. I found out the hard way, crumbled into 1000's of pieces.

A: I would not recommend storing it an unheated building. If any water impregnates the material it will cause flaking and/or cracking when the water freezes.

Q: I bought this birdbath last year and loved it so much I purchased another this year however the 2nd accumulates algae that is impossible to remove (as if the surface is damaged) can this be safely resurfaced or exchanged at the beginning of next season?

A: Sorry, I accidentally clicked Report I was going to report that I never heard from anyone in Customer Service. I love Canadian Tire my whole family has appreciated the ease and variety of products during this panademic. Huge thank you to management and staff for handling these challenging times. My thing is so minor that I feel foolish even writing as I am grateful for keeping going my concern was quality control and the birds health. Never clean these baths with anything that scratches or harsh chemicals. 1 part white vinegar to 7 parts water and a soft microfibre cloth is all that should be required to disinfect and keep it clean. I have a feeling my bath was wiped down by a good intentioned person that perhaps scratched the surface which resulted in algae accumulating when the weather was warm making it challenging to remove with normal methods. Stay well.
