A: The water goes from the barrel to the top in a continuous motion but does not circulate in the bottom barrel like a whirlpool. Hope this helps.

Q: After 5 minutes or so the water slows to a trickle. Suggestions to keep the water stream consistent?

A: put the flow stronger by turning the disc where the water goes in the pump (is can be hard rhe first few time) and if the flow still chande put a sponge like filter in front of it.
