Q: How do you change the frequency setting. Fan and light randomly turn on and off. Could the tv remote be interfering?

A: There are toggle switches in fan base and remote for the code. I bought 2 fans, one factory setting code works fine. 2nd I’ve changed the codes twice and mine randomly turn on and off. Will try a third time. It must be another type of remote as no one within range has a fan

A: Yes. I have 2 and installed one each way. Had 4 older versions in previous house with 1 dropped in the dining room, and 3 huggers in the bedrooms. Planning to get 2 more for the new house which will be installed dropped due to 9 foot ceilings.

Q: I am replacing a dead ceiling fan. It was set up on a rheostat. Instructions suggest I can't install the remote on the rheostat circuit. Can I just bypass the remote. Its going to be hard to hookup the remote anyway. Looks like an afterthought item.

A: Actually it's quite simple a little housing is set into the top side of the bracket. You can bypass the remote if you want. Won't make a difference. Your rheostat I'm guessing will control the fan speed so you'll need to isolate the motor wire. But all relatively simple stuff

Q: How noisy is this fan? I need to know how noisy this fan is. Is it whisper quiet? Or does it make noise? Please indicate which setting it makes noise on: low, med, high, or all settings. Thanks.

A: Just to add to the Team answer, I've just installed the fan and it's totally quiet on all three speeds. The only thing you hear is the whisper movement of the air, but absolutely nothing from the mechanics which is quite extraordinary for a modestly priced fan. We also found no need to add any of the included balancing weights as there was no wobble at all.
