A year after...

I bought this fire pit last October (2016) and after a few uses, the drum was already deformed. Rapidly the cover made holes and is now complete useless and look like it has been run over buy a truck... Rust all over, it took only a few weeks before the thing looked like some junk I would have salvaged from a junk yard. Every first visitor makes a joke about the thing, it looks terrible and is not far from the side of the road. The price might be cheap but the quality is worth less than what you pay for. DON'T BUY IT, you will regret it every time you will lay eyes on your back yard!!!

I bought this firebowl on sale at a great price. I don't plan on using it frequently, but it has held up great for the few times I used it this past fall. Happy with the price.

Great For The Price

Bought this on sale and am happy with it. I don't expect it to last forever but I should get a few seasons out of it and at half price it is a good deal compared to other more expensive models. I replaced the dinky poker with a 17 1/2 inch pry bar that I bought on sale (about $5.50) and drilled a few more holes in the bottom to improve drainage. A can of black high temperature spray paint is great to have on hand for touch ups and keeping it looking new.

A: The Laurentian Firebowl is not ULC nor CSA approved as it is wood burning fire bowl only and therefore does not require approval.
