Not Our First One

This is our 3rd purchase and we liked the first two so much in our hallway, we installed one in our laundry room... just off the hall. We now have a pretty classy laundry room! All fixtures are a pain to install...this one is no worse.

Nice but electrical plate was bent

The light is very nice and looks great in my living room. However, I cannot give it a 5-star rating because, like rosiebelle, an earlier poster, I also found that the electrical plate was bent and I only found out after I had installed everything and didn't want the bother of uninstalling the fixture. Like rosiebelle, I will just bend as much of the electrical plate as I can. I wouldn't really recommend this product, even if it's nice as there seems to be an issue with the electrical plate like the earlier poster. If people want to buy this product, and though I hate doing this, I suggest they open the box first.

Pretty light but poor quality parts

This is a pretty light once it is installed. The shade has a nice etched linen design. The main issue we had was the light's electrical plate was bent. It is white metal but part of the edge was somehow bent and scratched even though I picked a box that had the original tape. We managed to rebend it back a bit but the shade covers up the plate so we decided not to go through the hassle of exchanging it.
