Q: How much weight will the bench support? Can an average adult sit on it?

A: 160 kg which is 350 lbs - that is what the packaging says and the little sticker that is on the top once it is all assembled.

Q: I lost the slip cover, can I order a new one? Don't ask me how, but I lost the slip cover while laundering it. Where can I go to order a new one? I understand this is a pain, but I appreciate your timely response.

A: Pretty hard to judge that because it depends on how experienced or competent the assembler is. Under an hour for someone experienced and handy. Inexperience could take double that time or more.

Q: Can this be painted? Could this be painted a different color to match the colors I have in my room? I'd like to paint it in grey. If it can be painted, would that require sanding or deglossing and then primer and paint? Thank you!

A: You could paint, if desired, however this would void the warranty. No sanding or priming would be necessary as the unit has a paper finish.

Q: Does the 3-cube bench come with the drawers in the picture on the flyer (March 15-21, p.14) If not, are the drawers available from Cdn Tire? On your website, some pictures show the bench with the drawers, and some pictures do not.
