Does not work

This machine does not work. I’ve even tried their troubleshooting suggestions of putting meat in freezer before sealing and it still didn’t work.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Works for me but too much plastic

This is my first machine, never used one before so I can’t comparez. It works for me , vacuums, seals just fine. I grounded some beef and portion it.
I am only worried how much plastic it uses. Are those rolls reciclabe? I am sure they are not biodegradable.

Our FoodSaver bags that previously contained fruits, vegetables, breads and dry goods can be washed and reused. FoodSaver bags that contained raw meats, fish, eggs or un-pasteurized cheese should be discarded after use because they may contain invisible bacteria that will remain after washing.

Mine was a gift, and I've learned learned how learned how to learned how to use learned how to use it efficiently.
My only problem was learning how to vac vacant seal food with a lot of liquid... my daughter helped.

j'ai acheté cette scelleuse il y a maintenant 3 ans et je ne l'ai jamais regretté. Les aliments, surtout les viandes, se conserve plus longtemps et sans brûlures. de plus, c'est plus facile pour le rangement dans le congélateur. Chaudement recommandé.

This foodsaver does not work right . To seal the bags I had to try 3 or 4 times before it would seal .Taking it back

A: Merci de demander! Nous vous recommandons de toujours congeler immédiatement la viande / le poisson, les fruits / légumes et la sauce / la soupe solides avant de les sceller sous vide, car l'humidité pouvant être extraite de ces éléments compromettra l'étanchéité et peut compromettre l'intégrité du FoodSaver. Le gel instantané signifie simplement que vous allez le mettre dans votre congélateur assez longtemps pour que l'extérieur devienne solide avant que vous ne le scelliez sous vide. Ceci bloquera l'humidité de votre viande et empêchera le FoodSaver de aspirer toute l'humidité et de le juger incapable de sceller correctement les sacs.

Q: what is the difference Between the Basic FoodSaver and the FoodSaver Plus? The descriptions don't give enough information so that the consumer can tell. Thanks, Diane

A: The Basic FoodSaver is a smaller, more compact vacuum sealer. The FoodSaver Plus has a roll storage compartment and cutter bar so you can store your rolls and cut the bags with ease. The FoodSaver Plus also has an Adjustable Food Settings Seal Level that can extend the seal time to compensate for liquid and create a secure, reliable and air-tight seal.
