Flowclear Chlorinator

Nous avons acheté l’article au debut de l’été. Nous avons une piscine démontable Bestway donc supposé être compatible. À ce jour, en y passant des heures chaque semaine, les connections coulent toujours. De plus, le niveau de chlore produit était toujours trop bas même en ajustant les heures de fonctionnement selon la température et l’utilisation de la piscine. J’ai contacté sans succès les numéros de téléphone et courriel de Bestway inscrits sur tous les documents reçus avec la mention « Ne pas renvoyer au magasin ». Malheureusement, les bureaux sont toujours fermés même si j’appelle durant leurs heures d’ouverture, la réponse du courriel est de contacter le numéro de téléphone et il est impossible de compléter une demande de réclamation sur leur site web puisqu’il ne reconnais jamais ni le numéro d’article, ni le numéro de série. Finalement, aujourd’hui, 4 mois après l’achat, le chlorinateur s’est éteint et n’allume plus. Je n’ai pas sauvé de temps, ni d’argent. Je ne recommande donc pas

We bought ours two months ago and didn’t think about looking it all over until it was time to hook it up. Today I opened the box and the adapters are not in the box. Nice! And the unit is discontinued. Kind of hard to set up our pool this way.

We bought ours last year, it worked not even 4 months and it’s good for the garbage ! So i don’t recommend this to no one !!!!

This was to be the third season for this unit. I've only run it for 3 months max each year and the unit has always been stored indoors during the cold months. Unit running is out of the rain and direct sunlight. Till now the unit has worked without issue. Started getting the dreaded low salt warnings and as before cleaned the plates of the cell. Unit still won't work and I found that the seals around the electrical connections into the cell had failed and I had corrosion on the contacts as salt water had been leaking into the connectors. A bad situation made worse as when I went to purchase a replacement cell from the vendor I was advised that replacement parts are not available at any price. I'm scratching my head wondering why even list parts with part numbers in the instructions when the vendor who made the unit and printed the instructions does not provide the replacement parts. Same make and model is still available for sale so it's not like it's discontinued. Canadian Tire has many terms and conditions placed on it's suppliers in order for their products to be represented on their shelves. One of those conditions should be that the vendor provide reasonable after sale parts and service. Unit does come with a 1 year warranty but any failures after that period means you throw out the unit and buy another. I don't expect the units to last forever but to have the unit fail after 7 months total use with no recourse but to purchase another is unacceptable.
