Very poor quality

I purchase one years ago and it worked great for well over a decade, then it stopped generating any suction.
I purchased a new one, and like every other review on here it worked once. Now it can't generate enough pressure to move gas even 1 inch in the hose.
Sceptre, don't tell me to call you like you have on every other review unless you plan to replace it at your cost. Fix the issue, it's clearly a known issue. Likely cheap parts that fail out of the box. The check valve is clearly an issue, so fix the design then offer a free replacement to your clients....otherwise we'll keep up with the 1 star reviews.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Before I get this all covered in gasoline and can't return it, does it ONLY work via gravity? (20 L of fuel can on the roof of my car? LOL). If so, it's pointless and I might as well hold the gas can up at the side of my car for 1 minute. No mess.

A: Hi PatC - Customer satisfaction is very important to Scepter.The Scepter Flo'N Go Duramax works best under siphon conditions with the fuel tank positioned higher than your equipment, such as a jet ski in the water and the tank on a dock. In this setup, continuous pumping is not required. Pulling the trigger handle will start the flow and releasing the handle will stop the flow. However, if your fuel tank is positioned below your equipment - such as a motorcycle with the fuel tank on the ground - you will need to pump continuously as a siphon flow cannot be established. Q: I have the smaller Scepter fuel cans (1 gallon), what is the length of the internal hose that installs into the fuel can need to be trimmed on the bottom? Do the other side (end) need to be trimmed also?

A: Hi CalSal - The Flo n Go Fuel Siphon is designed to be used with regular 5 gallon Scepter fuel cans, not the tall thin one. If you have the smaller Scepter fuel cans (1 or 2 gallon), then the internal hose that installs into the fuel can would need to be trimmed on the bottom as it will be too long for that model. Q: I was using this in a 25L gas can pumping into my truck tank. It worked great until the gas can was about 1/2 empty and then I couldn’t get it to work again. Suggestions?

A: Hi ShelleyA74 - Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for your experience. The Flo-n-go that attaches to Scepter fuel cans has a tube that fits on the underside of the yellow valve. That tube is a set length for a standard Scepter 20 litre can. If you are trying to use it with a larger Scepter fuel can (25 litre), it may be a little short but certainly not half way.
