Hand Held First Alert Fire Extinguisher

Purchased as a replacement for my expired one. Hope not to have a need to use. Great for around the kitchen or around the Bbq. If you purchase one
look at the expiry date. Should be dated for 5 years out. Date imprinted around the nozzle area.

Q: The fire spray in this picture does not appear with lid. Do they come with a lid when purchased new to prevent accidental discharge ?

A: The Fire Extinguishing Spray has a clear cap on top of the nozzle. The cap also has a tear away clear seal that secures the clear cap to the canister.

A: Fire Spray is not listed a Fire Extinguisher, thus it does not require a ULC or UL rating. Fire Spray also not intended to replace an NFPA 10 compliant fire extinguisher where required.
