Was unable to install
After setting up passwords and trying to use got a system error
Troubleshooting did not list this error so did a factory reset.. reprogrammed only to have same error.
Warranty said to call customer support but. Did not give number. Googled manufacture as no website given. Only online support and all I got was video of trouble shooting given on provided guides
Returned next day.

I bought this a few days ago and the installation is easy. Although I did have to saw the hole a bit more to fit it properly. So far I have 3 codes programed and works great!

Hi I give you a 3 star because I didn’t want to say anything bad or good as I don’t have it installed yet as I don’t have any one to do it for me I’m a Senior lady and don’t want to try to install it myself as if I run into something that I don’t understand and not know how to figure it out it may not be able to be corrected that I would have to buy a new one and that’s not in my budget. I hope you understand my reply. Thanks.

A: Yes, the digital operated mechanism should still be able to open the cylinder as it is indeendent from the key operated mechanism, although they perform the same operation.

A: Don't buy this lock. I bought one and the next day was broken into. It is faulty and should be taken off the shelves. The police showed me how it can be opened with a knife and the deadbolt simply retracts. I also have filed with Canadian tire and have been waiting for over 6 months for them to deal with this. And the locks are still on the shelves. Unreal.

Q: Sur la boite c'est écrit: Garantie à vie. Le numéro de téléphone dans le papier de garantie nous renvoi à une firme qui ne supporte pas le produit. Esr-ce qu'il y a quelqu'un qui a réussi à faire respecter la garantie?

A: L'échange lors d'un problème dans l'année de l'achat est surement respecté par Canadian Tire. Le problème est qu'après 1 an, Canadian Tire ne supporte plus le produit. Ce qui est normal. Mais sur la boite c'est clairement indiqué que le produit est garantie à vie. Donc après un an, nous devons communiquer avec le fabriquant. Mais le numéro de télépphone qui est dans le manuel nous renvoi à une firme qui ne supporte pas le produit et il n'y a aucun autre numéro de téléphone. Donc, après un an, il n'y plus personne pour honorer la garantie.

Q: I purchased an ezset keypad deadbolt and installed it .. I can lock it but cannot unlock it ..I changed the PC code and it accepted it and I'm not sure what the UC code is and don't no how to enter it.

A: Hi John on the manual if you have the same one as I do page 13 shows UC code 1234 I believe this is the default user code set on the keypad.

A: I took a picture of the instruction manual page but there is no way to upload the picture. So I will hsve to type it all out. Default Programming code (PC) : 0000 Default user code: (UC) : 1234 1. DOOR HANDLING IDENTIFICATION PROCESS The lock needs to learn if your door is a right handed or left handed DO THIS FIRST! ENTER PC > EZ SET> 0> EZ SET 2. CHANGE PROGRAMMING CODE ENTER PC>EZ SET> 4 > EZ SET > ENTER NEW PC > EZ SET 3. ADD NEW USER CODE ENTER PC>EZ SET> 1 > EZ SET > ENTER NEW PC > EZ SET Note: up to 6 sets of user codes can be saved. User codes should be 4-10 digits in length. 4. DELETE AN EXISTING USER CODE ENTER PC>EZ SET> 2 > EZ SET > ENTER TH2E UC YOU WANT TO DELETE > EZ SET Ther3 is more but those are the basic ones you will need.
