Tiny and expensive! All plastic materials! Rip off

My kids got this for me for Christmas. I have no idea how they ended up with this expensive piece of junk! It’s tiny and plastic. There are no parts ANYWHERE that fit in it! I’ve seen many that were heavy duty with metal trays that were half as much as they spent for this thing! Why?!?!

I have found that this dehydrator is easy to use, is well made and does a great job. Right now I am concentrating on drying fruit and have quickly learned how to get the finished product to come out to our satisfaction. the double doors make it easy to load and unload as well as rotate the shelves when needed.

I already had one RES 10 tray dehydrator and decided that I needed another one. I dehydrate vegetables, lots of herbs, fruit slices and the outer fruit peel for herbal teas. There is always something coming in year round to dehydrate. I make all my own seasoning blends! Love the ease of use and the design with the fan at the back!

Love this new machine

Bought this to replace the 9 tray version. This is our third Excalibur dehydrator the first being purchased from the Roger Orton back in 1985. The only issue is the section "B" does not dehydrate as well as section "A".
