Questions
Q: I have basement flooding issues when the power goes out. I believe the sump pump I have requires 350w to run for a few seconds. It uses a three prong plug... is the bottom outlet in the pic, an outlet with grounding? If so, will this run my pump? THX
3 years agoA: nope the ground plug is for show nothing more it's not grounded so you'd have the same functionality as if you cut the ground prong off the plug as it's just a hole to allow you to plug in items with a ground plug

Q: What kind of solar panel would I need to get? I see it comes with a solar adapter, so do I need a specific panel to plug into the adapter? I want to use the unit to run an oscillating fan

Q: Can it be used to power a small electric outboard motor for a small cartop boat? Though I could use a 12 volt plug, I hoping there is access to the +ve and -ve battery terminals.
a year agoA: The DC 12volt section has 1 x 12 volt cigarette style output plug and 2 x 12 volt 5.5 mm sockets. I think these 5.5 are common use. No separate +/- that I have seen. Also I suspect the current draw could limit it. Not sure of amp demand of any motor. Documents say it will run a car cooler for 8.3 hours, vacuum for 4 hours.

2 years agoA: As long as the wattage draw from the fridge is less than 500 watts than yes. I’m assuming this is a portable camping fridge. Probably draws 80 watts or less , you should be fine.

3 years agoA: It will not operate a toaster. The current demand is too high. You have to check each appliance to see if the power supply can handle it.
