We love these skate guards. Easy to for the kids to put on themselves. Be sure to check the toe insert. We’ve had a pair that were flawed and the guard won’t stay on.

Great product, sizing is wrong online and confusing on box

Fantastic product. But getting the right size is difficult. CT website says this is for ages 5-13. Meanwhile box says for up to size 13 and doesn’t clarify if that’s a shoe or hockey size. I assumed hockey skate size. But bought these for my six year old that wears size 1 shoes and they were way too small. So the “ages 5 to 13” is wrong. Would be great if the box itself had a clearer size chart as well, rather than saying size 13 (ie fits shoe sizes xx and hockey skate sizes xx). Otherwise great product. But these would fit like a preschooler or child with very small feet in my opinion.

Q: Are these designed to protect blades from walking on concrete or asphalt?

A: It is not recommended to walk on concrete or asphalt with the Elite Pro-Skate Guards as the guards offer only soft protection. They are designed as protection from blades and edges when handling a skate. It is recommended to purchase a hard plastic skate guard when walking on concrete or asphalt, see SKU #: 0836995 or 0833856.
