WORKS GREAT

I bought this trimmer because the 4 cycle trimmer I had been using was getting harder and harder to start. I had never had a battery powered trimmer and wanted to give one a try to see how well it worked. The trimmer itself does a great job. I ran it on the high power and the battery didn't last as long as I had hoped for. The battery does however charge up real fast. I will probably try running it on the low speed next time. Right now I have been very pleased with it and am glad I bought it. I do recommend this trimmer to anyone who is looking for a battery powered trimmer.

I'll start by saying the only reason its not a 5 is because 5ah battery. Now that I'm invested in the ecosystem and have a 7.5ah I'm very pleased!!

Trimmer Head and Line Feed

I've experienced a LOT of problems with the trimmer head. Cutting line (string) loading/reloading, cutting line "jumping" and "spittng out a few or several inches of cutting line, power load button doesn't work properly (doesn't load/wind the cutting line), etc. This is the most problematic and difficult piece of an outdoor power tool that I've ever used. It's dysfunctional and makes yard work take longer than it should.

Hi there! We're sorry you've had problems with loading the string and having the tool spit out several inches of line, as well as the POWERLOAD™ button not working properly. To load the string, cut a piece of string 13 feet long and remove the battery pack. Then thread the string through the eyelet until there is the same amount of string on both sides. Install the battery and hold down the POWERLOAD™ button until there is about 7 inches of string sticking out on each side. Push down on the lower cover assembly while pulling on the lines to manually advance the line in order to check for proper assembly of the cutting line. If these steps do not resolve the issue, please check to see whether the POWERLOAD™ button will move when depressed and whether it rebounds after pressing, then send us a direct message on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X so we can look into it further.
