I've had this particular product for a few weeks and it is very easy to use once I got use to it. I had a Ecobee before this one that I have now and I highly recommend this product to anyone.

This is my second Ecobee and I admit I got them for free from my utility but I’m happy I did! I installed them myself! I save daily, even when I’m out of town because of the control I have with my phone!

Even better than previous model

We’ve had an Ecobee at our cabin for several years and really like the ability to check and adjust the temperature from afar. We’re planning a trip and decided to install the new Eco bee Lite at our primary residence for the same purpose. Easy install, some new features (day, night, away settings) and peace of mind. Highly recommend Ecobee!

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre thermostat Ecobee avec commande vocale. Il n’y a qu’un seul problème pour que nous lui mettions 5 étoiles: quand allez vous intégrer le français dans le thermostat, l’application et aussi dans le skill pour Alexa? Nous ne pouvons pas nous servir de la fonction Alexa car il est en français et le thermostat ne parle et comprends que l’anglais! Merci

  • A: Hi Danny! ecobee smart thermostats require the use of a C wire. If you don't have one, you can install with the included Power Extender Kit (PEK). Learn more: https://support.ecobee.com/s/articles/Installing-your-ecobee-thermostat-with-the-Power-Extender-Kit-no-C-wire

Q: Does it work with baseboard heaters, without a 24V relay?

  • A: All of these thermostats are designed to work with 24VAC HVAC systems. If your HVAC system works with 120/240VAC (like baseboard heating), the ecobee is not compatible out of the box.
