I purchased my thermostat from my local utility company and had it professionally installed. So far so good and looking forward to learning more about and utilizing its additional features. I assigned 4/5 stars for most ratings only because I have not had a chance to use it much (moving into a home with with Ecobee thermostat)

Does Not Save Energy

Thermostat works alright but it does not follow the local peak time of use energy schedule. The Ecobee app is registered to my local power company but the peak time of use hours are off for Colorado. My local peak time of use hours are 5pm - 9pm but the thermostat thinks my peak hours are 3pm - 7pm. Unfortunately there is no way to change this :(

A: The ecobee app is free to use. If you want to upgrade to ecobee Smart Security, it starts from $5 USD per month for video storage for a single SmartCamera.
