    Installation of Anchors

    Anchors were the right product for my application to secure my portable car shelter. I've reviewed them in the past and recommended that the end of the rod used to install the anchors have a rounded tip. The squared end gets lodged in the anchor and is very difficult to remove.

    Duckbills are the way to go- Arctic approved

    I've used these easyhook duckbill anchors all over the US with shelter logic shelters. I have seen them withstand even 85+mph winds in the Arctic holding down a soft sided structure in the tundra. Driving them in with a hilti or other heavy duty rotary hammer makes easy work and are far more stable than using standard screw or nail type anchors.

    Anchors Work Well

    I needed something to secure a small metal shed to the ground, I found the Easy Hook® Anchors. They do require a bit of work to install, but take less overall space than screw-in style anchors. As someone else had stated in their review, (directly quoting the review here); "We have solved for this by slightly rounding one end of the rod with a file. By removing the hard factory edge, the chance of the rod sticking in the anchor is greatly reduced." Once you do this, the rest of the job is EASY. Thank you for your product.

    Q: Has the store in newmarket ordered this item yet? i was in a couple weeks back and was told they are new and none were on order yet! come on guys do i have to go elsewhere...i like to buy canadian when i can but with none on order how long do you think i will wait?....i need it now ....
