Excellent suction

The first time I used the vacuum, I was unable to open the waste canister - the door would not slide open. I had just finished the online registration so I called the Dyson Help-line. At first I thought I had been connected to a salesman as the person tried to sell me a ‘much better machine’ rather than listen to my problem. Eventually he quit trying to sell me another model and told me I could send it to the repair facility in Georgia. I packaged the canister and took it to a UPS facility. That was on a Monday and by Friday of the same week I got back. They had replaced the inoperative canister and the unit has worked fine ever since. This was our third Dyson vacuum and it is by far the best in terms of picking up pet hair from our carpet and floors.
